‘Maybe This Time’ Earned P100 Million After One Week

The romantic film featuring Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin “Maybe This Time” has already earned P1 million after one week of showing in more than 180 theaters nationwide.

The P100 million box office income of the movie was announced by Star Cinema’s advertising  and promotions manager Mico del Rosario through his Instagram account on June 4, 2014.

“P100M as of today! Congratulations Team #MaybeThisTime! To God Be The Glory!,” he wrote accompanied with a photo.

“Maybe This Time” which premiered on May 28, 2014, also earned  P20 million on the first day of showing and the income tripled after four days and earned P60 million. The P100 million mark is P40 million higher than the last reported income of the film.

Due to its success,’Maybe This Time’ is also set to be shown in United States and Canada starting June 6, 2014 in selected theaters.

The box-office film centers the love story of Steph (Sarah Geronimo) and Toni (Coco Martin) who departed ways after Toni leaves Steph without any reason and their paths cross again after long years.

“Maybe This Time” also stars Ruffa Gutierrez, Ogie Diaz, Dennis Padilla, Minnie Aguilar, Devon Seron, Kathleen Hermosa, Zeppi Boromeo, Marlann Flores, Sharmaine Buencamino, Tony Mabesa, Alex Castro, Cecil Paz and Garlic Garcia.

The movie, directed by award-winning director Jerry Lopez Sineneng and produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films, is still showing in more than 180 theaters in different parts of the country.
