SM Prime Holdings Inc. brought its entertainment and shopping leisure in north as they opened their first mall in the Cagayan Valley Region on Friday May 30, 2014.
SM Cauayan is located along National Highway, District in Isabela and the floor covers an area of about 66, 299 square meters. It will be the 49th mall of SM Prime in the Philippines.
Cauayan City is the center of economy in the region with more than 2, o00 registered business establishments. It is also accessible to 11 municipalities in Isabela.
The newly opened mall carries the company’s flagship brands which include SM Department store, SM Supermarket, SM Appliances, ACE Hardware, Watsons . It will also open its first movie theater in SM Cinema.
SM Cauyan will feature also fashion brands like Payless, Girodano Guess and For Me. Restaurants including Max’s, McDonalds and Gerry’s will also be opened in the mall.
According to ABS-CBN News, SM Prime president Hansy Sy said that they are excited to open the mall since it will also open opportunities to the people living in Cagayan Valley.
“We are excited about the opening of SM City Cauayan which is situated at the industrial and commercial hub of the Cagayan Valley region. We look forward to serving thousands of our countrymen as we continue to expand in various regions of the country which offer so many opportunities for growth,” Tan said.
SM Prime Holdings Inc. is still planning to expand and they said that it will open more than 30 malls in the next five years in China and Philippines
