Mayor Joseph Estrada Richest in Metro Manila (SALN Report)

Former Philippine President and incumbent local chief executive of Manila, Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada is considered as the richest Mayor in Metro Manila, based on his 2013 Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).

The Mayor of Manila declared his net worth at P242.834 million, Mayor Estrada listed his real properties worth P95.5 million and his big chunk of cash or its equivalent amounting to P151.4 million. He also listed his P91.033 million house in Sampaloc, Manila, a P31.596 million worth of property investments, vehicles valued at P10 million and other assets. In terms of liabilities, Mayor Estrada listed P59.5 million in the nature of a bank loan from Asian United Bank.

Ranked second richest Mayor in Metro Manila is Pasig City Mayor Maria Belen Eusebio, who declared a total net worth of P150.014 million. Mayor Eusebio owns real properties worth P53.487 million and other personal properties valued at P94.527 million, including investments of P51.507 million.

The poorest mayor in Metro Manila is Marikina Mayor Del de Guzman who has a net worth of P3.310 million, he was also the poorest mayor of Metro Manila during the 2012 SALN report. During the year 2012 the richest mayors in Metro Manila were Mayor Eusebio, Tiangco and Abalos.
