The Philippine Azkals only needed a draw to advance to the next round of the AFC Challenge Cup 2014 against Turkmenistan. The Azkals vs. Turkmenistan game will start at around 7:00 PM (Philippine Time), it will be shown live through ABS-CBN’s Sports+ Action (Studio 23).

The Philippine Azkals will miss the service of their main goalkeeper Neil Etheridge who is suffering from an injury together with defender Juani Guirado who also suffered from an injury during the Azkals’ last game against Laos.
Filipino-German goalkeeper Roland Muller will play the role as the main goalkeeper of the Philippine Azkals after Neil Etheridge did not fully recovered from his injury.
The Azkals’ opponent on the other hand will miss three of their main players, Nikita Gorbunov, Serdar Annaorazov and defender Shorat Soyunov. Nikita Gorbunov is the team captain and goalkeeper of Turkmenistan.
