PRC: Free MRT-3 Rides for Filipino Professionals on June 16, 2014

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in coordination with the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) announces that all Filipino professionals will get free ride at Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) on June 16, 2014.

The free MRT ride will be provided for all Filipino professionals as the nation celebrates 41st Professional Consciousness Week. PRC noted that free MRT3 ride is exclusive to registered Filipino professionals only.

“They will have to present their valid and updated PRC IDs at the MRT3 Guards stationed at the service gate before being issued boarding p(–foul word(s) removed–). Upon arrival at their destination, registered Filipino professionals shall surrender their boarding p(–foul word(s) removed–) to the guards at the service gate before exit,” PRC said.

According to PRC, free ride is valid only on June 16, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Aside from the free MRT3 ride, PRC is set to launch its  first-ever Fun Run Activity dubbed “PRC RUN (Rising in Unity for Nation-Building”) at the PRC lot along Macapagal Avenue on June 15, 2014.

Based upon the official website of the PRC, registration period for the 5-kilometer, 2.5-kilometer and the 1-kilometer run will start on April 21 until June 8, 2014 in All SM Business Centers.

The Professional Regulation Commission which was established in June 22, 1973 is a government agency mandated to regulate and supervise the practice of the professionals who constitute the highly skilled manpower in the country.

The PRC plays a strategic role in developing the corps of professionalization, economy, commerce and governance.
