Kapuso star Carla Abellana admitted in an exclusive interview with GMA-7’s showbiz oriented program “Startalk” on Sunday, April 13, 2014 that she and her boyfriend Geoff Eigenmann broken-up after their four-year relationship.
“I remember I was the first one pa nagsabi na, ‘Yes Geoff and I are officially together.’ So it’s just right, I believe, na ako na rin ang magsabi na we’re no longer together,” Carla Abellana said to confirm her breakup with the actor.
Many were saddened on her revelation as they are expected to tie the knot soon. But Carla Abellana that there is no “third-party” involved on their separation though Geoff Eigenmann was previously linked to young star Kylie Padilla.
Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann who first worked together in 2009 GMA-7 remake of Mexican soap opera, “Rosalinda” admitted that they are in a relationship in 2010.
Despite their relationship ended in a sudden separation, Carla Abellana thanked Geoff Eigenmann from the very start of their romance. The “My Husband’s Lover” star did not elaborate further the reason for their breakup but hinted misunderstanding at times with their relationship.
“Hindi ko na idedetalye kung ano yung mga reasons na yun. There are just too many reasons, pero hindi talaga namin kaya na,” Carla Abellana said.
During the exclusive interview of Carla Abellana on Startalk, she turned emotional as she recalls her relationship with the 29-year-old actor.
