After the first McDonald’s National Breakfast Day celebration on March 18, 2013 with over 300 branches in the Philippines, here comes the second year of the leading and world’s largest fast-food chain, serving around 68 million customers daily over 199 countries as they will be giving away McMuffins on Monday next week March 17, 2014.
Regarding to this, McDonald’s will be giving away 1,000 free McMuffins or a total of 320,000 to customers on first-come, first-served basis which will start on March 17, 2014 at around 6 a.m and these will be available for dine-in, take-out or drive-thru.
On the other hand, other branches in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa will also coincide with this promotion brought by McDonald’s Corporation.
Andrew Hipsley, the chief executive brand officer of McDonald’s for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa said on a statement, “We were so encouraged by our customers’ resounding response in the region last year, we are bringing back National Breakfast Day to remind people about waking up to better mornings with breakfast.”
Andrew Hipsley furthermore added, “Breakfast is a significant business for McDonald’s. And we know the convenience of a hot McMuffin on-the-go makes breakfast so much accessible for people who are often caught up in the morning rush.”
With McDonald’s great and valuable promotion, McMuffin will varied on egg and sausage, meanwhile, here in McDonald’s Philippines they also serves local items including ham pan de sal and longganisa with rice.
