Ateneo landed another heavy recruit in their camp as high school prospect Isaac Go committed to play for the Blue Eagles this year.
The 6’6 center out of Xavier school, who admitted that he will go to Katipunan-based school mainly for academic purposes, also considered the reputation of Ateneo basketball program in developing quality big men.

“Ateneo has a lot of good big men like NicoSalva, Greg Slaughter, and Rabeh Al-Hussaini. I believe that if I work hard, I can actually be better than them,” said Go. (Statement from Spin.ph)
The national youth team member, who already p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the Ateneo College Entrance Test (ACET) for Applied Chemistry course, is said to have already attending Ateneo practices and tune up games as early as now.
With this commitment, the five-peat champion Ateneo got another young big man to add in their group of inbound rookies that will fill in the void left by Frank Golla and JP Erram, who graduated last year.
Go will most likely join fellow rookie frontlinersThirdyRavena, Arvin Tolentino, Jay Javelosa and John Apacible in the Blue Eagles’ line up this coming UAAP season.
The 17-year old junior stalwart, is one of the premier center of Metro Manila TiongLian Basketball (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation (MMTLBA) and has recently played for the Seaoil NBTC High School All-Star Game along with Ravena and Tolentino.
