Undefeated San Miguel Replaces Import Josh Boone with Kevin Jones

Despite a breakout 32-point and 21-rebound performance on Sunday night, Joshua Boone will still be replaced as import of San Miguel Beermen in the on-going Commissioner’s Cup.

According to Interaksyon.com the development was revealed by Biboy Ravanes on Monday.

“We would like to thank Josh for his effort nd professionalism. He showed a lot of heart while wearing a Beerman uniform. We look forward to enjoying Josh’s future success as he will always be a member of the Beermen family,” Ravanes said.

In place of Boone, Kevin Jones will be the new reinforcement of San Miguel, which is currently leading the early goings of mid-season tournament with 2-0 record.

Jones, who arrived on Saturday in Manila, played an impressive season in Canton Charge of the NBA D-league averaging 27 points and 13.7 rebounds per game.

The 6’9 Boone was meant to be replaced even before the Beermen 112-96, thumping of Ginebra last night and his debut win against Meralco on Friday after his below expectation showing in the team’s tune up games.
