Pugo, the Pinoy version of defunct Flappy Bird app continues to dominate as the number one application in iOS Top Chart for free apps two days or less than 48 hours after the newest craze became available on Apple’s appstore.

Patrick Cabral, the co-creator of the Filipino-made app took his Instagram account and posted a photo featuring the Pugo app as it reaches the top hits.
The mechanics of this game is similar with Flappy Bird, in order to achieve high scores, the user must p(–foul word(s) removed–) the obstacles along the way. But instead of a typical bird on the app, a pink quail bounces up and down by tapping the screen through the jungle.
The difference between Pugo and Flappy Bird is that you will have the chance to gain extra lives by picking the Philippine flags on the way so that you may have the chance to receive high scores.
Reaching the Top Chart for free apps means a crucial stage among app developers wherein the creator opted to monetize the app to generate ad revenues. Top rank also determine large number of downloaders and offers attraction to app users.
Pugo, running on its third day has now ads. According to its website, the newest rage-inducing game created by couples Patrick and Camy are used to work as advertising, web and graphic design, illustration and art direction.
Patrick and Camy admitted in an interview earlier that it took them for more than two months to finished the application.
