Pugo Game App Replaced Flappy Bird Available on iOS Users (Video)

As independent game developer from Hanoi, Vietnam Dong Nguyen made a huge splash to mobile users for his “Flappy Bird App,” yet it also saddened some Androids and iOS users, as the owner decided to officially removed this type of game on Play Store and App store.

In regard with this, though Flappy Bird has been removed which already garnered 50 million times downloads, another version of it was made by the Filipino art directors newlyweds Patrick and Camy Cabral called as “Pugo Game App.”

Unlike Flappy Bird which only has one life that annoyed its players, this latest version “Pugo Game App” can make it thrice, and due to this fact, it will surely make a huge hit to Androids and iOS users while playing this game.

Mewnwhile, in an interview with Rappler, Patrick Cabral said on his statement “It came as a sign when Flappy Bird was going to be taken down. We seized the chance and we had friends who encouraged us to just give it a try,” and furthermore he added, “We wanted to experiment on what we think Flappy Bird could have been from our artistic perspective as well as improve on the gameplay.”

The couple also admitted that it took more than two months for them to be able to produce this Pugo Game App, yet they planned to give more color and setting to this game.

For its mechanics the rule is simple just like Flappy Bird: players should tap the screen to make the bird fly while p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing through the green pipes, while in Pugo Game App it will have a quite different as the bird avoiding obstacle by means of trees and bushes and the small pink quail also dies whenever the player hit it on the ceiling nor the floor.
