The Filipino-Dutch finalist of The Voice Kids Netherlands failed to clinch the grand price of prestigious singing competition held on Friday in the Netherlands after her performance during the finals.

The 12-year-old Katrina Manaog was defeated by teammate Isabel Provoost to represent team Nick and Simon in the battle with the contenders of Team Angela Groothuizen and Marco Borsato.
Katrina Manaog’s teammate was also defeated by Dutch-Moroccan Ayoub Maach who ultimately won as the grand winner of The Voice Kids Netherlands.
The Fil-Dutch sang the controversial song Wrecking Ball, the same song popularized by former teen star and Disney actress Miley Cyrus, while suspended on the air sitting on a huge ball.
Some Filipino netizenss were dismayed with the choice of song by the Filipino-Dutch singer and also expressed their negative comments to the production number (–foul word(s) removed–)igned to Katrina Manaog.
Despite not winning the competition, some Filipino netizens were still proud of her performance and the pride that she gave not only to the Filipino community in Netherlands but also worldwide.
