Jony Villon returned the retrieve item to an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) named Cristina Alcaraz Rosal on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

Jony Villon will be taking up Food and Beverage course while his wife is going to take Commercial Cooking course and their training will start on February 10, 2014.

Jony Villon formerly worked as an OFW in Israel and according to the pushcart retriever, “Alam ko po ang hirap ng isang OFW, kung kaya hindi ko naisip na ibulsa yung napulot ko,” he said in a recent interview.

Jony Villon said that despite of his financial needs, he had no hesitance to return the lost item. The “honest ambassador” who worked for three years already at NAIA 1 earned P12,000 a month.

After being recognized as an honest employee at NAIA 1, the administration of the airport aims to change the perception of foreign and local passengers after the airport was being dubbed as the World’s Worst Airport.

  1. At NAIA, May 5, 2014 around 5 a.m., on our return trip to New York, Jony Villon happened to be insight among all crowd of p(removed)engers, and asked him for help to cart our luggages through security check, thereafter walked us to Delta Priority check-in. He is really a person who can be trusted, helpful, and truly honest. I vouch for his integrity and good moral character.
