Another explosive NBA star will not make it to this year’s All-star Dunk contest on February at New Orleans as Pacers’ guard Paul George declined invitation of a comeback stint in the said skills event.

The 6’8, high-flying guard had been courted by the league to participate anew in this season’s dunk showcase happens on February 16, Saturday (Sunday PH time) but George, who recently received superstar status decided not to accept it.
Clamor for him to return in dunk contest boosted up owing to his countless highlight reels this season; he in fact just made an incredible 360 dunk on Saturday against the clippers which dazzled millions of NBA fans.
George is no stranger in the competition as he previously seen joined the 2012 edition.
The third-year player though, will still be part of this year’s All-star festivity as he is currently of the leaders in the balloting for the starting line up of the Eastern conference.
Aside from the Pacers’ main man, LA Clippers’ athletic big man DeAndrei Jordan is also being offered to be part of this year’s All-star dunk fest.
Rockets’ center Dwight Howard earlier also refused to join.
Last year Toronto’s Terrence Ross emerged the champion after besting the likes of Utah’s Jeremy Evans and Gerald Green, who is most likely be invited again this year.
