Rousing PBA Playoffs Kickoff Today

Middle bracketed teams, Petron, San Mig, TNT and Barako begin war as they try to seize the pivotal game one to move within a win from semifinals in the PBA playoffs today at the Mall of Asia Arena.

There are no such things as momentum and pacing as the four squad go all-out right at the opener of their respective short best of three-series.

Petron faces dangerous Barako Bull in a three-game affair that will see Arwind Santos and Junmar Fajardo and the rest the boosters match up revitalized Energy Cola led by former comrades Denok Miranda and Dorian Pena.

Game slated at around 5:45 pm but will air on delayed telecast at TV5 at 11pm.

Barako beating of Petron last time out, 92-88 at the expense of Boosters’ bid of earning one of the twice-to-beat incentives adds more color to the picture.

Tropang Texters, who struggled prior to their 103-79 routing of Ginebra last Sunday on the other hand will look to reap from the late acquisition of last season’s most improved player which cost them two players and a 2016 first round pick.
