According to the Yahoo Sports, the Brooklyn had reached agreement with Chicago to ship forward Tornike Shengelia to the Bulls in exchange for 6’2 guard Marquis Teague.

In a separate trade the Nets will also send Tayshawn Taylor and cash to the New Orleans Pelicans for a conditional future draft pick.

Both trades are said to be finalize on Tuesday (Wednesday PH time).

First round pick Teague (29th), second rounders Shengelia (54th) and Taylor (41th) are all drafted in 2012.

A brother of Atlanta’s Jeff Teague, Marquis was in and out of the roster of Chicago averaging only 2.4 points and 12.7 minutes in his 19 games this season.

The 6’9 Shengelia on the other hand hardly earn minutes in the loaded forward position of Nets with Paul Pierce, Andrei Kirilenko, Regi Evans first in the line.

Taylor, who averaged 3.9 points per game in 11.7 minutes with the Nets, might struggle to find time for himself as he is set to join the guard-heavy Pelicans, who have Jrue Holiday, Bryan Roberts, Austin Rivers and Tyreke Evans in the rotation.
