The Kim Chiu and Xian Lim movie titled “Bride for Rent” hits the P100-million mark in box office earnings in just four days of showing in various theaters nationwide.

The movie “Bride for Rent” is the second on-screen tandem of showbiz couple Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, the achievement was attributed to the huge following of the KimXi tandem.
The confirmation of the P100-million income was made through through the announcement confirmed by Star Cinema executive Roxy Liquigan, who noted that the feat was impressive enough considering the movie’s January playdate.
The previous movie of Xian Lim and Kim Chiu titled “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo” last 2013 earned P100 million but it took two weeks to achieve such fate.
The movie Bride for Rent features Kim Chiu who portrays Rocky, whose fantastic search for a job leads her to an audition called by Rocco portrayed by Xian Lim. Rocco was looking for a woman to pretend to be his wife, in the hope of accessing his trust funds.
The top-grossing film also features veteran stars such as Tirso Cruz III, Dennis Padilla, Pilita Corrales and hunks Matt Evans and Martin del Rosario. The movie earlier earned a total of P21.2 million on opening day.
