After conducting a year-end evaluation, Philippine Football Federation officially made decision on discontinuing Michael Weiss’ service as Azkals head coach.

Under his commands since January 2010, Philippine Azkals reached its highest ranking in the FIFA at 127th place, the highest rank ever achieved by the Philippine National Men’s Football Team.

The new head coach of the Philippine Azkals will be announced soon with six candidates included in the shortlist.

“PFF officials thanked Coach Weiss for his contributions to the national team,” said PFF Joson.
