The first trailer of the highly-anticipated Game of Thrones Season 4 will premiere this coming Sunday at around 8:58 PM ET on HBO. The Game of Thrones Season 4 will also premeire this coming April 6, 2014 at around 9:00 PM (ET).

The top-rating US series announcement of it’s first trailer was made available out of HBO’s TCA 2014 winter press tour presentation. The first trailer will be aired this coming Sunday before “True Detective.”
The Season 4 of the Game of Thrones will be mostly based on the second half of “A Strom of Swords,” the third book in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series by George R.R. Martin.
Some materials will be added from the fourth and fifth books which will run concurrently alongside the end of the third book. The Season 4 of the Game of Thrones was formally commissioned on HBO last April 2, 2013, after a substantial increase in audience figures between the second and third season of the series.
The Game of Thrones Season 4 will consist of ten episode which already started their production last July 8, 2013. Veteran writers and producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will return as showrunners for Game of Thrones Season 4.
