Top Rank Promotions Chief-Executive-Officer (CEO) Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao‘s adviser Michael Koncz have already met in order to discuss regarding the next opponent of Filipino boxing superstar and Representative Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao.
“I just had a good meeting with Michael yesterday (Sunday PHL time), and I’ll leave it at that,” Arum said in an interview with Ring Magazine as Pacquiao’s next opponent will be revealed in the following days.
Recently the 8 division world champion Manny Pacquiao and current pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. made international headlines on news report after a reliable news channel on YouTube ventured a rumored mega fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather.
However, the rumored much-anticipated slugfest between Pacquiao-Mayweather will not be able to continue after Konkcz confirmed that there are no negotiations on both camps and the video uploaded on YouTube is not official rather sort of prediction.
The only two fighters that Pacquiao might encounter are WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley and WBO light welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov.
Meanwhile, there were reports that Juan Manuel Marquez might be one of the contenders of Manny Pacquiao, and if the fight would pursue, Pacquiao-Marquez bout will mark on their fifth battle.
If possible that Pacquiao will choose to fight Provodnikov, Bradley will be facing Marquez for the second time while if Manny Pacquiao’s camp selects Bradley, Marquez may be forced to fight Provodnikov.
