4. His-3 as TNT wrote to PBA– After winning in the 2013 PBA Philippine Cup, the Tropang Texters stressed their third victory from the tournament.

5. Grandmaster Wesley So (Chess)– Grandmaster Wesley So continued to move up the elite circle with his impressive play, breaching the 2700 level with five victories this year.

6. Rockets-Pacers NBA Game– Filipino fans cheered after the biggest tournament which brought in the country between the two NBA teams, Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers at the MOA Arena in Pasay City last Oct. 10. as the fans were given the chance to see Dwight Howard and among others.

7. Game of billiards– Dennis Orcollo and Lee Van Corteza brought Philippines on fame and victory after winning from World Cup of Pool last Sept. in London. Meanwhile Rubilen Amit was hailed as grand champion in women’s category.

8. DLSU Green Archers– La Salle made a terrible victory after winning from 2013 UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball Tournament.

9. NCAA: San Beda Lions Roar 4-peat– After their battle in NCAA basketball tournament, the reining champ bags again their 4th winning trophy.

10. Philippine Azkals– From 147th to 127th world ranking, the football team leading victory gave the country pride in football. Phil. Azkals with Myanmar football team will host the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016.
