Reigning Miss International beauty queen Bea Rose Santiago showcased her singing talent against four other Filipino beauty queens, during the December 21 episode of “Singing Bee.” The episode was taped before Bea Rose Santiago’s departure to Japan last week.

The 23-year-old Bea Rose Santiago took on the popular OPM hit song “Torete” originally sang by Moonstar88 during her battle against her fellow beauty queents.
The Alabang born but Masbate native beauty bested her fellow beauties namely Miss Universe 4th runner-up Venus Raj, Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul, and Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2013 Joanna Cindy Miranda.
Bea Rose Santiago went on to compete in the “Singing Bee’s” jackpot round, dubbed as “The Final Countdwon,” wherein she also beat last week’s champion Jett Pangan, the lead vocalist of The Dawn.
The model and current beauty queen who moved to Canada at the age of 15 drew praises from “The Singing Bee” hosts Amy Perez and Roderick Paulate because of her knowledge of OPM songs particularly the 1997 hit of Lito Camo titled “Kung Ikaw.”
Bea Rose Santiago is scheduled to arrived in the Philippines late Saturday, December 21, 2013 after her successful conquest in Japan and brought home the Fifth Miss International title to the Philippines.
