The Philippine team climbed one step higher compared to their yesterday’s ranking, the country is now at seventh place in medal standings after a gold medal haul of Filipino boxer Josie Gabuco in women’s boxing.

The Philippines has a total medal haul of 23 medals comprised of 4 Golds, 6 Silvers and 13 Bronze medals as the biennial meet is slowly getting into hotter since its opening last December 11, 2013.
As of posting time, host country Myanmar continued its dominance in overall medal standings with a total of 82 medals, which includes a total of 30-28-24 in Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
Perennial SEA Games powerhouse is slowly getting the momentum as they ranked at the second place with 28-33-26 in Gold, Silver and Bronze. Vietnam is also tied with Indonesia as they were able to get 28-20-24 in Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.
