Fake Interpreter Sees Angels During Nelson Mandela Memorial

Fake deaf interpreter Thami Jantjie which give meaningless sign language at Johannesburg for the former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela memorial service, explained that he is hallucinating during that time and this reason unable him to do his job properly.

Thami Jantjie said in an interview, when he stood on stage and started to make sign language he saw “angels” which enables him take away his concentration and focus.

“What happened that day, I see angels come to the stadium … I start realizing that the problem is here. And the problem, I don’t know the attack of this problem, how will it come. Sometimes I get violent on that place. Sometimes I will see things chasing me,” Mr Jantjie said.

34-year-old Thami Jantjie admitted that he was once hospitalized in a mental health facility for more than one year and also claimed that he suffered a  schizophrenic episode on the stage as he sees different things and hears loud voice.

After it was discovered that he was a fake interpreter, authorities immediately investigate Thami Jantjie.

After the 5 hour event, Thami Jantjie was being paid for R850, and he is also the same man last year in the speech of President Jacob Zuma who was given a complaint by CEO of the British Deaf (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation David Buxton.

In regard with this Thami Jantjie asked forgiveness for the wrong gestures that he did, and he also apologized for his performance that has been dismissed by many sign-language experts.
