The COMELEC issued order to local officials and members of the House of Representatives who failed to submit their official Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) for the May 2013 Elections.
The poll body have already sent a letter to the Officer of Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr., to enforce the order to vacate the posts of congressmen who failed to submit their requirements to the COMELEC.
The letter from the COMELEC sent to House Speaker Belmonte was dated November 27, 2013. The COMELEC on their part released the order to vacate the office of politicians involved during a press conference held on Thursday, December 12, 2013.
