Call Center Girl Grosses P33.8 Million in First Week of Showing

The latest movie from ABS-CBN movie outfit Star Cinema and Skylight Films’ “Call Center Girl” featuring Pokwang, Jessy Mendiola and Enchong Dee garnered huge sales box office income despite huge competition from international Hollywood blockbuster films.

According to the independent box office tabulator Box Office Mojo (BOM), the movie, “Call Center Girl” has already garnered more than P33.8 million on its first 5 days of showing.

The movie “Call Center Girl” is directed by Don Cuaresma and it is considered as the 11th movie of Pokwang as one of Star Cinema’s artist. The movie is part of the 20th anniversary presentation of Star Cinema.

Aside from the movie Call Center Girl that got good standing in terms of box officie income, another Pinoy movie is also making its wave in the box office chart, the movie, “When the Love is Gone” starring Cristine Reyes, Gabby Concepcion, Andi Eigenmann, Jake Cuenca and Alice Dixson.

The movie, When the Love is Gone” have already garnered more than P18.8 million in box office income on its first week of showing in cinemas nationwide. The movie that dominates that box office is the Hollywood film, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” with a total of P229.39 million in 2 weeks of showing.
