Azkals striker Phil Younghusband revealed during an interview with Push.com.ph that he was not affected with the latest rumors surfaced online that his former girlfriend, Angel Locsin broke up with him because of third party identified as Luis Manzano.

According to a news report from ABS-CBN citing interview from Push.com.ph, Phil Younghusband said that they both know the real reason behind their separation and there’s no need for people to gossip about them.
The 26-year-old Phil Younghusband was quoted as saying “I know Angel nearly for three years so… she knows the truth and I know the truth,” he said. Phil added further that he is not affected with such rumors “Not really… Right now I don’t really want to talk about it and I just want to concentrate on my football at the moment and spend time with my family,” he said.
After the confirmation of Phil Younghusband and Angel Locsin’s break up, there are speculations that Luis Manzano had something to do with the separation since the TV host had just broken up with his girlfriend, Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado.
Phil Younghusband also revealed during his interview that he is looking forward to returning to England and spend Christmas and New Year there. When he was asked if Angel Locsin had something to do with his decision, Phil just answered that: No, no, no, no, no. I just want to see my friends and I have not been back to England in the last four years so I just want to go back and see my friends. I am going for two weeks so it is just a short trip.” he said.
The Philippine Azkals striker, Phil Younghusband reiterated that he and Angel Locsin remain friends even after their split and they continue to get in touch. He also clarified that he is not yet ready to enter into a new relationship with someone else.
