The Miss Earth 2013 title was awarded to Miss Alyz Henrich of Venezuela during the coronation night held on Satuday, December 8, 2013 at the Versailles Palaces in Alabang in Las Piñas, Manila.

The 22-year-old beauty queen from Venezuela was asked during the Question & Answer Portion, how she thinks eco-tourism can contribute to the protection of the environment.
The Venezuelan beauty Alyz Henrich answered: “We are responsible for the destruction of our nature. We need to be aware and take care of Mother Earth.”
Other elemental winners of the beauty pageant were Austria’s Katia Wagner as Miss Earth-Air, Thailand’s Punika Kulsoontornrut took home the Miss Water title, while Korea’s Catharina Choi placed as Miss Fire.
The Philippines candidate Miss Angelee delos Reyes made it to the Final Top 8 of Miss Earth 2013, alongside delegates of Austria, Mexico, Korea, Thailand, Venezuela, Serbia and Poland.
