Philippine Azkals’ striker Phil Younghusband denied the rumors romantically linking him to Kapamilya actress KC Concepcion, only a few days after his former girlfriend, Angel Locsin, publicly reacted to the rumored and blooming relationship with KC.

The 26-year-old Chelsea Football Club student, Phil Younghusband posted a tweet on his official Twitter account addressing the rumored relationship with KC Concepcion. He answered a question by a follower who asked him whether he is dating the daughter of megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Based upon the answers given by Phil Younghusband, he was referring to the now defunct talk show of ABS-CBN “The Buzz” which KC Concepcion co-hosted. The rumored relationship between Phil and KC got the attention of netizens when Angel Locsin was recently asked on for her reaction about Phil courting KC.
Angel Locsin just noted that she has yet to confirm whether there is truth to the rumor but she stated that, “”I’m willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. It’s just that, as his ex, parang ang bilis.” she said.
The Philippine Azkals star player Phil Younghusband was vocal on his relationship with Angel Locsin during the past years and hopes of settling down with the actress but their plans were not materialize because of their recent break up.
Not too long ago, when KC won PMPC’s Best Supporting actress award, prior to the publishing of this article, and prior to Angel Locsin’s interview re: this rumor linking Phil Younghusband to KC Concepcion, KC was asked by reporters re: this rumor. She refused to dignify the rumor by briefly responding, to summarize, that it is PROMO and not true.
As a recent follower of the local movie scene, this observer cannot wrap around one’s head to negative unfounded publicities such as this one between Phil and KC, which can be downright inflammatory pitting fans against fans, celebrities against celebrities, which can promote/lead to mean-spiritedness among bashers/trolls of said celebrities. The pettiness/mean-spiritedness of some who would readily believe such unfounded and inflammatory rumor mongering is just plain ignoble and meaningless. What is the purpose of this all especially if it hurts the reputation of one and cause much unnecessary infightings among respective followers of the celebrities involved in the rumor? How can we raised and improve mindsets among Filipinos if we promote pettiness and conflicts, especially in this day and age when anyone can say anything to anyone without regards for decorum because they can hide behind the anonymity of technology?
