Due to the sudden 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck and devastated Central Visayas particularly in Bohol, Cebu and nearby provinces, the calamity took the lives of hundreds of individuals and also destroyed some of the vital historic and tourist spots of the region.
In this tragic disaster, there are also other corporations lend their help to continue the relief effort, and now Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) sincerely extends its sympathy to the victims of the recent earthquake victims.
The said corporation take part to augment the situation, and as a sign of its genuine comp(–foul word(s) removed–)ion and as a humble effort to provide the survivors a good start, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines donated Php500,000 to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC).
During the occasion and the formal launch of the Mirage G4 at the SMX Aura Convention Center, the President and Chief Executive Officer of MMPC, Hikosaburo Shibata and MMPC Executive Vice President Mr. Junya Masuda turned-over the check donation to Gov. Corazon de Leon of the PNRC.
Shibata (–foul word(s) removed–)ured that MMPC is always ready to provide humanitarian (–foul word(s) removed–)istance and actively do its role as a responsible corporate citizen.
One of the three principles that the company adopts is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
He also added that CSR is an integral part of their existence as a corporate citizen.
