As of November 8,2013 Friday, super typhoon Yolanda with international name Haiyan entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility hitting some part of Visayas.
This tremendous disaster brought a terrible mark in the lives of Visayan people. As of this matter, resident from Tacloban City testified how his family survived the storm surge.
Rolando Primacio 21-year-old place his 10-month-old baby inside the refrigerator just to let his son survive. Rolando’s partner in life Riza Primacio who is 19 years old didn’t expect that his husband as well as her son will survive after they got separated during the m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive typhoon.
In that tremendous disaster Riza lost her love ones including her father and grandparents.
As Rolando recalled, he said when super typhoon Yolanda struck their place the roof flew, wind shook the walls and then sea water rushed in and the walls tilted.
In that moment all of them who live in the nipa house in Tacloban City huddled up inside when Yolanda made landfall.
During that time all of them rushed outside into a waist-deep sea water having the faith of surviving, yet others didn’t made it.
Nine days later after Yolanda’s wrath, Rolando, Riza and their baby Jhon Mar Primacio arrived in Cebu in Military plane.
To start their new life, the couple live in Rolando’s parents at Barangay Tungkil, Minglanilla, Cebu City.
