After the wrath of Super Typhoon Yolanda, some of the vital infrastructures were destroyed especially the Telecommunications sites that plays a vital role.
Globe Telecom as well as Smart Communications offered free services such as free call and charging stations in some part of Visayas that was hit badly by the typhoon.

Smart said it has restored Smart and Sun networks services in the following areas:
