Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin is just one of the few celebrities who have have every effort to help in various national disasters affecting her countrymen. The 28-year-old actress has been very busy supporting the Philippine Red Cross in relief operations.

Angel Locsin is auctioned her car, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle last Sunday, November 10, 2013. During an interview with Kris TV on Tuesday, Tina Monzon-Palma, the program director of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya revealed to the press that Locsin was indeed auctioning her car.
According to Sagip Kapamilya, the vintage car of Angel Locsin was brought to the Sagid Kapamilya to be auctioned. Palma was quoted as saying, “Chevrolet Chevelle. Opo, dinala niya dito last Sunday ang car, ipinakita niya sa atin at sinabi niya na, ‘para sa inyo ‘yan, sa Sagip Kapamilya.” said Palma.
Palma also added that at first the owner of the vintage car being auctioned by Sagip Kapamilya through a car enthusiast group was kept on secret but due to the number of inquiries they finally revealed that the car was indeed owned by Angel Locsin.
The actress Angel Locsin also posted the photo of the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle on her official Facebook account, as a confirmation that she was the owner of the auctioned car, with the proceeds to be given to the relief efforts of the Sagip Kapamilya by ABS-CBN.
Angel Locsin is currently busy with her upcoming TV series titled “My Legal Wife,” which will also feature Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales.
