Ariella Arida of the Philippines was declared as the winner of the Misss Universe 2013 “Ice Princess” title, the winner was based on a glam photo shoot of the official 86 candidates of the 62nd edition of the Miss Universe.

During the photo shoot for the “Ice Princess,” world-renowned photographer Fadil Berisha was quoted as saying that, “In this glam shot, Arida transformed from her exotic sultry look into a high cl(–foul word(s) removed–) fashion model. ” the Albanian American fashion photographer said.
Berisha added further that, “From her frizz mane to her pout and down to her skin tone, Ara Arida is a force to be reckoned with as she can transform from different looks as long as she wishes” Berisha stated.
According to Berisha with the new title of Miss Philippines as the “Ice Princess” she is now a major favourite to win the Miss Universe Golden Lexus crown, especially if she continues to impress the international judges in the competition.
Aside from Ara Arida, other winners of the “Ice Princess” awards were Miss Spain as First Runner-up, Miss Great Britain as Second Runner-up, Miss South Africa as Third Runner-up and Miss Australia as Fourth Runner-up. The other 10 candidates who made it to the Top 15 are Poland, Venezuela, Netherlands, Ecuador, Romania, Ukraine, Brazil, Russia, Croatia and Turkey.
The theme for the Ice Princess photo shoot was “Yamamay for Miss Universe swimwear and faux fur. Yamamay is an Italian swimwear and lingerie manufacturer, the company entered into an exclusive deal with the Miss Universe Organization to design, produce and distribute the Miss Universe swimwear collection.
