The 2012 Miss Universe 1st Runner-Up Janine Tugonon of the Philippines will be the pageant’s web correspondent as she gives the fans an inside look into the glamour of the 62nd edition of the world’s most popular beauty pageant competition.
The 24-year-old Janine Tugonon’s first (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment as web correspondent could be the Preliminaries competition scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.

Janine Tugonon will be the correspondent of the official YouTube Channel of the Miss Universe 2013. She will also cover some sponsored activities, rehearsals and will randomly interview candidates to get the inside scoop from each delegate.
The former First Runner-up is currently based in the United States as she pursues her studies. Janine Tugonon has Pharmacy degree and an accomplished graduate with honors as Cum Laude, she is a Licensed Pharmacist last June 2010.
Janine Tugonon was best known as the first runner-up candidate in the Binibining Pilipinas 2011 pageant but she returned in 2012 and captured the crown to represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2012 held in the United States placing first runner-up to Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo of the United States.
