The world-renowned pop-rock band, Jonas Brothers has decided to call it quits for now as confirmed by a band representative on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 (US Time).
Jonas Brothers became famous when they became part of the Disney Channel children’s television network during the year 2005. The group are consists of siblings Paul Kevnin Jonas II, Joseph Adam Jonas and Nicholas Jerry Jonas.

The decision of the Jonas Brothers to split up came less than three weeks after they canceled their concert tour citing a rift in a band. The band told People Magazine that their decision of parting ways was unanimous. The band representative also responded to the Reuters interview by confirming the split of Jonas Brothers.
The oldest member of the group, Kevin Jonas stated that it was over for now, he is currently expecting his first child with his wife. The 21-year-old Nick on his part, told People that, “It’s really hard to say forever,” he stated and added further that, “We’re closing a chapter, sure sure.” he stated.
The announcement of the Jonas Brothers split followed a meeting on October 3 when Nick Jonas told his brothers about his concerns of the group’s future. Jonas Brothers are known worldwide for their upbeat pop rock musical prowess that made them a teen phenomenon.
Jonas Brothers launched their debut album during the year 2006 titled “It’s About Time” while their latest studio album titled “Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” was released on 2009. The released a total of four albums. During the year 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards.
The Jonas Brothers were also recognized and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards in 2008. In the summer of 2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
