On Thursday October 24, 2013 at 7:00 pm – 11:30 pm in Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena, catch the “Super Show 5” Super Junior for their Manila World Tour.
South Korean boy band Super Junior, formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment, the group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak. Super Junior originally debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kibum.

Over the years, they have been divided into smaller groups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior’s success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as acting and hosting.
In addition to their commercial success, Super Junior has earned thirteen music awards from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, sixteen from the Golden Disk Awards, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards after JTL in 2003.
In 2012, they were nominated for “Best Asian Act” in MTV Europe Music Awards showing one more time their popularity around the world.
And this year 2013 Super Junior, the most coveted Korean boy band to date, is set to thrill K-Pop fans in the Philippines.
Super Junior began their second world tour with their first show in Seoul last March.
The Philippines was not included in the band’s Super Show 4 tour last year. Super Junior will make up for the lost time with Filipino fans with a much more spectacular performance.
