Light rains never hindered the people as well as the supporters of Megan Young, especially her fans and family to join her in the historic victory motorcade parade of Miss World 2013.
Thousands of crowd made their part in the said event, and despite of the bad weather Young’s supporters continued to cheer her.
23-year-old newly crowned princess Young, was so overwhelmed because her “kababayan” warmly welcomed her.
Young’s homecoming parade toured parts of Makati City before culminating Pasay City. The  host of motorcade, proved to be a spectacle with its accompanying br(–foul word(s) removed–) band, vintage cars, motorcycle group and horses.
The parade started at 2 p.m at the corner of Buendia and Makati Avenue, from there it made its way to Ayala Avenue and turned right to EDSA, moving towards the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
The historic winning of Megan Young truly gives joy and happiness to her fellow citizens.
Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) accommodate the motorcade and implemented alternate routes for traffic.
The duration of the parade last for two hours, Megan Young smiles as she waved to the cheering crowd along the streets, after the motorcade she went on to greet thousands at the Pasay mall where she expressed and lend her gratitude to her fellow citizens for supporting her in Miss World.
