The Philippine national football team, Philippine Azkals have already arrived in Bacolod City on Tuesday to participate in the 2nd Philippine Peace Cup to be held at the Panaad Park and Stadium which will start on Friday, October 11, 2013.
The Azkals arrived at the Bacolod-Silay Airport via Philippine Airlines Flight PR 907, while their opponent, the Chinese Taipei national football squad arrived hours later via Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 477.
German Coach of the Azkals, Hans Michael Weiss led the group of Azkal players composed of Neil Etheridge, Edward Sacapano, Rob Gier, Patrick Reichelt, Marwin Angeles, Paul Mulders, Misagh Bahadoran, Jeffrey Christiaens, Jerry Barbaso, Jason de Jong, Chieffy Caligdong, Phil and James Younghusband, Chris Greatwich, and OJ Porteria as they arrived at the City of Smiles.
Stephan Schrock of Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, Jerry Lucena of Esberg fB, Juani Guirado and Patrick Deyto are set to arrive on Wednesday via PAL Flight PR 903.
The Chinese Taipei national football squad have also arrived in Bacolod City with their Head Coach Kuei-Jen Chen, (–foul word(s) removed–)istant coaches Chi-Feng Chen, Jiunn-Ming Chen and Ching-Jen Fang; team manager Yen-Jui Chen; Physio Therapist Kuo-Feng Sung, and Media Officer Ke-Ming Chang.
Aside from the players and coaches of the two national squads, FIFA Officials have also arrived on Tuesday via PAL flight PR 909, they are match commissioner P. Sivakumar from Singapore and two referees from Malaysia.
