The official website of the Philippine Azkals have already released the complete line-up or the squad list of the Philippine national football team that will participate in the upcoming Philippine Peace Cup 2013 to be held in Bacolod City this coming October 11-15, 2013.
The Philippine Peace Cup is a 5-day tournament which falls on FIFA match dates featuring three nations competing for the title currently held by the Philippines. The two-invited national football teams were the Chinese Taipei squad and Pakistan national football team.
The powerhouse Philippine team is currently beefed up by some Europe-based players who will participate as they were given clearance by their respective ball-clubs in Europe as required by FIFA. The Philippine Peace Cup falls under the FIFA Calendar, meaning national teams can call up their respective national squad to suit up for their team.
Stephan Schrock of the 1.Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt will lead the Fil-foreign players for the Azkals together with Neil Etheridge from Fulham FC, Jerry Lucena from Esbjerb fB, Rob Gier and Juani Guirado. Asian based Filipino footballer Patrick Reichelt who played for Thai Club Singtarua will also join the Philippine Azkals.
