Last month, LG Electronics released its newest high-end Android smart phone, the LG G2 which was awarded as “Best Smartphone” by Stuff.TV and proclaimed as the best android phone by several reviews such as GSMarena and CNET beating Samsung’s S4 and HTC One.
What makes it more interesting is the inspiration behind the 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, the cure for those distorted selfies due to camera shake.
Here’s the story:

The LG G2 OIS Camera promotes “Steady Feathers”, a tongue-in-cheek ad featuring the camera-wearing chicken and Dave, a self-described cameraman and eventually discoverer of the art of Galluscam, the stabilizing system that utilizes the perfect neck stability of the gallus gallus domesticus, formally known as the “domesticated fowl” or the so-called — “chicken.”
In the sincerest form of flattery, the Steady Feathers campaign is actually an imitation from a Mercedes Benz Chicken ad.
