The De La Salle University Green Archers is leading 41-33 after the first half of the UAAP Finals Game 2 against the University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers on their best-of-three finals series.
The DLSU Green Archers and UST Tigers were fighting neck-to-neck with each other, the scores were tied 12-all, midway in the first quarter. La Salle’s star player Jeron Teng started a 13-0 run for La Salle putting UST behind with 23-15 deficit.
UST’s big man and current Yellow Cab Big Man of the Season Karim Abdul momentarily ended the drought for UST, but the most improved UAAP player Almond Vosotros and Norbert Torres combined their score for the Archers having a safe distance at 30-19, in the middle of the second quarter.
Although the UST Tigers have an edge over the La Salle Green Archers but the Taft-based squad is determined to extend the series to Game 3 and they are hungry for the title.
