  1. This should serve as a lesson to all racist individuals. Devina does not deserve to be a teacher. What can she teach young people – being insensitive, being racist, having a bad attitude, being a liar? For you Devina, what you wrote in social network will haunt you FOREVER. Maybe it’s time for you to think about applying as a domestic helper or “maid”. I bet no one would like to (removed)ociate with a racist insensitive and irresponsible (removed) like you.

    • Very well said DI Vine! Maybe when she has a hard time finding work in the future, she could apply for the position of a maid in the Philippines or a job cleaning countless toilets in hotels anywhere in the world. That would be sooooo apt.

  2. She can apply as our maid.. I will only have hear clean our toilet once a week. I am in Manila BTW and 100% Filipino. I don’t think she is cut out to be a teacher, she needs to learn the value of equality in a diversified world.

  3. According to Noble-prize-winning English poet Rudyard Kipling in “White Man’s Burden: the United States and the Philippine Islands,” Filipinos are a “new-caught, sullen peoples, Half-devil and half-child.”

And according to Dan Brown in “Inferno,” Filipinos live in the “gates of he*l.”

Claire Danes adds that Filipinos live in a “ghastly and weird city” that “smelled of cockroaches, with rats all over, and that there is no sewerage system, and the people do not have anything – no arms, no legs, no eyes.”

The Boston Herald also (removed)erts that “our troops in the Philippines…look upon all Filipinos as of one race and condition, and being dark men, they are therefore ‘ni*gers,’ and entitled to all the contempt and harsh treatment administered by white overlords to the most inferior races.”

General Jacob Smith’s medical officer also says that ” If people knew what a thieving, treacherous, worthless bunch of scoundrels those Filipinos are, they would think differently than they do now. You can’t treat them the way you do civilized folks.”

Richard Welch of Lafayette College adds that Filipinos are “half-savage and half-bandit”.

Indeed, General William Shafter (removed)erts, “It may be necessary to kill half the Filipinos in order that the remaining half of the population may be advanced to a higher plane of life than their present semi-barbarous state affords.”

That’s why Obama cancelled his trip to the Philippines. He just remembered all that.

  4. Even during Mama Cory’s time, the PH emb(removed)y in London alleged that the Oxford dictionary had recently defined “Filipino” as “maid” because that was the colloquial or informal definition among Europeans. Cory even complained about it, but the government was not able to provide proof of British har(removed)ment or threats.

But it’s really just karma. Even the Filipino dictionary contains entries like “tsonggo” defined as “monkey.” “Tsong-guo” is Mandarin for “China.” And the word “Bharat” (Sanskrit for “India”) is defined as “stingy”. “Laos” (a poor ASEAN country) is defined as “old-fashioned” or “out of style”. There’s probably many more wicked entries…

Indigenous people in the Philippines are also called “people with tails.” I’ve visited some Igorots with some German hikers, and the Igorots are furious. Likewise with Mangyans, Aetas, MNLF Tausugs, etc., whose land was all stolen. Conflict abounds in the Philippines because of racism and prejudice.

In fact, I’m the President of the Philippines but just look at my fist name and see what they call me. I’m a special person, but look at how racist Hollywood portrays me.

Indeed, racism is universal, and people should check themselves first. Filipinos should repent of their sins and be reborn as angels, not devils.

    Wag nang pasaway!

  5. Devina’s lawyer would just say, “look at the Filipino dictionary.”

They would search for the word Bharat (Sanskrit for “India”), and they would show that it’s defined as “stingy”, which is how Filipinos think of Indians. They would use it in a sentence:

“Ang Bharat mo!” Literally, it means, “You’re so Indian!”, but Filipinos actually mean “You’re so stingy!”

Then the lawyer would show the judge the entry for “tsonggo”, which the Filipino dictionary defines as “monkey.” He would then use it in a sentence:

“Mukha kang tsonggo!” Literally, it means “You look Chinese,” but Filipinos actually mean, “You look like a monkey!” This word was used more politically in the olden days.

These racist entries are still in current Filipino dictionaries and were never removed. Should Singapore sue the Philippines or should ASEAN just marginalize the country?

  7. Hey Devina “Porky” Dediva, it’s time to pack up and go back to your native country. You have to realize that you lost your job because of your filthy mouth which only matches your ugly face and disgusting figure. You can start job hunting by cleaning toilets of expats but i’m sure you wouldn’t be fit for the job because you don’t know what sanitation is all about. You can also work as (removed)istant teacher but again, teachers are supposed to have good manners and right conduct. You might as well ply your trade at the streets of your city but i’m sure even notorious rapists of your country wouldn’t even give you a second look. Well life could be tough but life is what we make it. You wanted to appear as a smart (removed) but unfortunately you are not smart, but yes, you are (removed)… an (removed).

  13. Devina has created a nightmare for herself. I am pretty sure she is already feeling the sting of online bashing, maybe even contemplating suicide. I hope she survives this and learns her lessons. We all did. To mock people by reason of poverty is tacky to say the least.
To her I say, tomorrow is a new day start by being kind.

  15. Our world is being diversified with regards to culture . RACISM tops to the ranking issues of the global feud and RESPECT is being disregarded with some people. Being a person who have the capacity of a “MEMORY CARD” which transcends knowledge yet significantly it has limitations. We should always think that our mind could be “FORMAT” when it was corrupted by a certain virus. What I am trying to imply is that , people could always “CHANGE” , they would profoundly think of it as time p(removed)ed by , they would alter it to a new pleasant , non obnoxious way 🙂
