The first-ever grand winner of The Voice of the Philippines, Mitoy Yonting made his first guest appearance on “It’s Showtime,” on Monday, September 30, 2013 after his successful stint as winner of The Voice Ph on Sunday night.

Mitoy Yonting is coached by Lea Salonga, performed his own versio of Freddie Aguilar’s “Anak,” on “It’s Showtime.” After his performance with the top-trending show on noontime TV, he also thanked his supporters and followers.
The lead vocalist of “The Draybers,” Mitoy Yonting was quoted as saying:
“Doon po sa lahat ng gumastos ng load, maraming salamat po,” said Yonting, who admitted that he still can’t believe that he won the competition.
“Masaya at least napatunayan na ‘yung ganitong mukha ay pwedeng magkaroon ng magandang boses,” he said.
