Miss Philippines Tourism, Cindy Miranda will represent the country in an international beauty pageant to be held in China, the Miss Tourism Queen International 2013.

The 22-year-old Cindy Miranda departs from the Philippines on early Sunday morning, September 22 to face the other contenders of miss Tourism Queen. The former host of “Wil Time Big Time,” is a native of Nueva Ecija will try to duplicate the success of Megan Young’s conquest of the Miss World 2013 title.
Before Cindy’s departure to China, she prepared well for the competition together Miss Universe Philippines bet, Ariella Arida. Cindy is a former first runner-up to Janine Tugonon who won UST’s Ideal Thomasian Personality competition in 2010.
Cindy Miranda finished her Tourism degree graduated cum laude, she pursued her showbiz career, becoming a PBB Housemate on reserve and eventually landed a hosting job on TV 5.
During the Bb. Pilipinas Gold 2013 last April, Cindy won one of the four major titles, the Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2013. Cindy will represent Philippines in the Miss Tourism Queen International, or MTQI 2013. The Miss MTQI began in 2004 and based in China. It was founded by Mr. Charlie See, while Mr. Alex Lius is the current President.
The Miss Tourism Queen International will be celebrating its eight edition because the 2012 edition of the event did not pushed through. The previous winner of MTQI is Kantapat Peeradachainarin from Thailand, who was crowned in 2011.
The Philippines have also won the Miss Tourism Queen International (MTQI) during the year 2006 when Justine Vinluan Gabionza took home the crown. Russia has the most number of titles with a total of two crown, 2007 and 2009.
