The PRC explained further that the PRC and the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers have decided to postpone the September 29, 2013 BLEPT in Zamboanga CIty, Tawi-Tawi and Jolo, Sulu, after due consultations with Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, Tawi-Tawi Provincial Governor Nurbert Sahali and Sulu Provincial Governor Abdusakar A. Tan II.
The postponement of the exam was made earlier on account of the limited access to air and sea transportation brought about by the ongoing hostilities in the above mentioned areas as well as considerations of the safety and security of the examinees and examinations personnel.
Meanwhile other areas in the Philippines will push through with the scheduled September 2013 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Board Exam.
