No Cameras Allowed at Rihanna’s Manila Concert (Sept. 19, 2013)

The highly-anticipated concert of international singer Rihanna will take place a few minutes from now at the Mall of Asia Arena, but the organizers of the event venue made an official advisory through their official Facebook accounts prohibiting the use of cameras during the concert.

The SM Mall of Asia Arena announced that any type of camera will be be allowed in, “as per artist’s management and event organizer’s request.”

Here’s the official announcement:

“All type of cameras (digital cameras, point-and-shoot cameras, DSLRs) are prohibited during Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds World Tour.’ Only accredited press and media will be allowed to bring cameras inside the venue,” it said.

The world-renowned singer Rihanna, is the artist behind the popular global hits, “Umbrella,” the song that also made a controversy in the Philippines that involved Anne Curtis.

The 25-year-old Rihanna’s Philippine visit is her second time after her successful and sold-out show last 2008 in Taguig City. The “Manila stop” of Rihanna is just one of her Asian tour of the worldwide “Diamonds” concert, which so fat visited over 60 cities worldwide.
