One of the incident that spurred outrage among netizens was when the host and comedian Vic Sotto sprayed juice on Ryzza’s face. TAPE explained to MTRCB that it did not reach the child star’s face.

The MTRCB detailed the agreement of its meeting with TAPE on its Twitter account.

Here’s some of the official statement made by MTRCB:

“MTRCB welcomes TAPE’s undertaking to weed out undesirable live studio participants to protect both child talents & audience.”

“MTRCB further notes TAPE’s prior engagement of child development expert to advise proper handling of child talent.”

“MTRCB notes explanation that juice-spraying was done obliquely and meant to create impression that juice reached face of talent.”

“Noting the impact of such impression, TAPE still undertook not to have such scenes anymore consistent w/ other measures for the child host.”
