One of the most-awarded cheer dance group, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troupe targeted their ninth UAAP Cheer dance crown.

The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe performed an Egyptian-styled performance in the 2013 edition of the UAAP Cheer Dance competition at the Mall of Asia Arena.
UST has won eight Cheer Dance titles, tied with the UP Pep Squad. But they last won the championship in 2006.
