GMA Kapuso star Ellen Adarna will be leaving the showbiz industry for good after her father, a wealthy businessman in Cebu, has summoned his daughter to go back to him, three years after their misunderstanding.

According to a news report from Yahoo Philippines, Ellen was quoted as saying, “I’m going back to Cebu next year and I think 90% I’m gonna quit with my dad asking me to go back. And I am convinced to go back.” Ellen said during #MomolReady Party by FHM and Gillete Fusion Proglide.
The 24-year-old Ellen Adarna also admitted that she misses the corporate life where she used to work for her father’s primary business, a chain of motels in Cebu, Manila and Davao.
Aside from going back to Cebu as one of her reasons in quitting showbiz, she doesn’t seem to enjoy some of the not so glamorous aspects of the showbiz industry. She don’t like the waiting, the long hours, and some people are very unprofessional. She stated that she hate it when people waste her time because for Ellen time is gold.
Meanwhile Ellen Adarna will exit the showbiz industry on a high note as she plays the lead role in Gil Portes’ “Ang Tag-araw ni Twinkle,” an entry to the Film Development Council of the Philippines’ Sineng Pambansa Film Festival, which will kicks off on September 11 and ends on September 17 at all SM Cinemas nationwide.
